Is this just astrology?
No. Astrology is Greek and Babylonian. Daoly is Chinese, and built on three
different traditions - BaZi, I Ching, five elements - that do not pretend to be
one thing. They ask different questions, in different ways, and we kept the seams visible.

Do I have to believe in it?
No. A lot of people use it like a journaling prompt with better taste. The real
question is not "is this real" - it is "does looking at yourself through this lens
make you think more clearly." Sometimes the answer is yes.

What if I don't know my birth time?
You're fine. The hour pillar adds resolution, but missing it is not a dealbreaker -
it is like reading a book without the footnotes. Still a book.
